The 2012 Humble Pie Cabernet hails from four vineyards in the Central Coast growing region. The majority of the grapes come from Hames Valley, which is known for being one of the warmer regions in the Central Coast, and the San Lucas appellation which has the highest diurnal temperature variations of any appellation in California.
TASTING NOTES: Aromas of raspberry, strawberry, vanilla, toasted coffee and cotton candy arise from the glass. On the palate, crisp acidity leads to flavors of cherry, boysenberry and a slight hint of cigar box. Enjoy this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon today or in several years.
FOOD PAIRINGS: Humble Pie is a perfect stand-alone wine; it will also pair well with hearty meat dishes and wild game.
APPELLATION: Central Coast, CA.
