The 2018 Humble Pie Cabernet hails from four vineyards in the Central Coast growing region. The majority of the grapes come from Hames Valley, which is known for being one of the warmer regions in the Central Coast, and the San Lucas appellation which has the highest diurnal temperature variations of any appellation in California.
WINEMAKING: The 2018 growing season was a winemaker's dream. The mild spring, steady average temperatures throughout the summer, and no rain in the fall, provided the perfect environment for the vines, which produced high quantity and quality grapes. 2018 provided the perfect ripening conditions and will go down as one of the best wine growing years on the books.
TASTING NOTES: This Cabernet Sauvignon offers up notes of sweet black fruits intermixed with roasted coffee, vanilla, black raspberries, melted licorice and spring
